Administrative Manager
Barb grew up in Chicago, Illinois but quickly made her departure south to Emden as soon as she could! Barb has wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was in the 4th grade and later attended U of I to earn her Bachelor's in Agriculture and Animal Science. She started at Green Prairie Animal Hospital in the late 80's and has never left!! In her spare time, she loves to travel and visit unique restaurants; her goal is to visit all 50 states and has 3 to go! She has two sons, one on the east coast and one on the west coast, so she tries to spend time with them and her 6 grandkids as much as she can! Barb's professional mission statement matches Green Prairie's...Enhancing the lives of people & animals...it's what starts her day, every day. One thing that Barb does that people may not realize is part of her job description is medicating the clinic cat, Pumpkin!
