Meet Our Skilled Veterinarians

I was born in Central Illinois, in Logan County, and grew up on a grain and livestock farm. I attended college at the University of Illinois for my undergraduate degree in animal science and then again for veterinary school.

I have been a member of the Green Prairie San Jose team since 2003. I am a graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. My professional interests include equine dental care, lameness, and reproduction, and I have pursued continuing education in these areas.

Dr. Jason has a long history with Green Prairie! He grew up in Emden, Illinois, and started with us originally as a kennel assistant in 1998! He attended U of I and joined our team again as a Veterinarian in 2013.

Dr. Gretchen was born and raised right here in central Illinois! She has been with the Green Prairie family since her early college years as an assistant.

We are thrilled to introduce our newest team member, Dr. Taylor Cook! 

Dr Allie is originally from Rock Falls, Illinois. She attended Iowa State University for her veterinary degree. Dr Allie joined Green Prairie Animal Hospitals in 2021 after graduating from veterinary school.
