Veterinarian
Dr. Jason has a long history with Green Prairie! He grew up in Emden, Illinois, and started with us originally as a kennel assistant in 1998! He attended U of I and joined our team again as a Veterinarian in 2013. He first learned of our hospital and the veterinary industry in 1996 when he met Dr. Bill at an FFA Ag Professionals Day. In Dr. Jason's spare time, he enjoys fishing, quality time outdoors with his daughters, hunting, gardening, and volunteering on several boards. Growing up, Dr. Jason lived in Japan for 3 years and picked up the language a bit! He also started the Bass Fishing Club at U of I while attending vet school. Dr. Jason's specialty is client education, communications, and cattle! His work nickname is "The Mayor". Always learning and improving helps motivate Dr. Jason in the workplace as well as being a good example for his kids!
