Routine Processing

For our established cattle clients, routine vaccines can be administered in a variety of ways. Cattle clients can pick up vaccinations from our clinic (or drop ship) and administer themselves or our experienced team can vaccinate, deworm, castrate, and pregnancy check your cattle in clinic or on farm according to your needs.

Diagnostic Testing

In order to properly diagnose your animal in case of sickness, necropsy, or in the event you are shipping your cattle (sale or show), we use multiple diagnostic laboratories. We offer testing for pregnancy, Johnes, BVD, BLV, and a variety of other diseases.

Certificate of Veterinary Inspection

We offer health papers for our cattle clients that frequently ship cattle for either sales to shows. We utilize Global Vet Link (digital CVI's) to aid in efficiency. For health papers in the state of Illinois, health certificates are valid for up to 90 days. If an animal is being transported across state lines, the health certificate is only valid for 30 days. If your animal will require a health certificate, please give us a call to schedule an appointment for veterinary inspection. You can also fill out our health paper request form ahead of time to get your health paper sooner after your animal has been inspected.

VFD (Veterinary Feed Directive)

From time to time, your herd may need to be treated for a health condition. The easiest way to do this is to feed a medicated feed or top dress the medication on your cattle's feed. Under the veterinary feed directive, a script can be issued by your veterinarian to the feed mill of your choice to produce the proper prescription feed for your affected cattle.

Troubleshooting/Sickness

No farmer looks forward to the day they have a downed cow or a calving problem, but those days do happen when you're working with live animals...We do offer haul-in and on farm services in those times of need. We also offer emergency services for our current clients, even when our office is closed outside of normal business hours. Just dial our normal line and you will be patched through to our answering service until our on-call doctor can be reached.
