Certified Veterinary Technician
I grew up in Decatur Illinois and started working with animals as soon as I could convince someone to let me help. I started working in wildlife rehabilitation at 15 and started as a kennel girl when I was 16. I graduated from Parkland college as a Veterinary Technician in 2009. My interests in veterinary medicine include ANYTHING “CAT ” , internal medicine and exotics. I love to embrace the role of “cat lady” in our team and have special interest in behavior medicine and environmental enrichment in felines. I share my home with my longtime partner Bruce as well as four cats and one dog: Pretty kitty, Thomas, Guido, Cheshire and Cheyanne. Cheyanne loves to travel with us and go on visits to the hospital where she is a registered therapy dog. In my spare time I enjoy camping, hiking, canoeing, gardening and cooking.
